A man of mystery, not much is known of Choso's past. What he chooses to share is dubious at best and conflicts with itself. Some people say he's a former courtesan, running away from debtors in Ul'dah. Others say he was an orphan abducted and turned into a vampire. Some even say he has no history at all, simply appearing one day in the Black Shroud, surrounded by voidsent. Choso declines to confirm any of these, but finds amusement in dropping tidbits to those prone to spreading rumors. It keeps up his image, he says, and prevents anyone from finding out too much about his true intentions.


- a cult leader. he is incredibly charismatic, bending his followers to his will and whims. he's got a manipulative streak in him. those that don't fall for his act find themselves facing a very different man.
- mysterious backstory. choso is shrouded in mystery, and many people don't get close to him. even those who do are unsure if they've met the real him, or if it's still the mask he wears.
- interest in the void. he is motivated by voidsent, and has an interest in summoning a powerful one. his cult centers around the void and what it has to offer. he claims that everything he does with the void is for the good of the people around him. this claim may or may not be true.
- lonely. for all his acts and the walls he puts up, choso often wishes he could allow someone to get closer. sometimes there's a hint of sadness in his red eyes, as if he's remembering something that once was. it is very difficult to get close to him. he wishes it wasn't.

what i'm looking for:
in terms of genre, i would be ok with at least trying pretty much anything. ideally i prefer roleplays that are angsty or have elements of horror to them.
i'm used to rping on forums, so i generally prefer multiple paragraphs in a post. i'm not picky though, i can mostly make anything work and i understand writers block comes for us all.
i'm ok with mature themes but spicy rp is off limits.
i would mostly enjoy relationships forming over a period of time. he's paranoid, not quick to trust. while he's not really hostile outright, most people will be met with cold indifference to begin with.
